Looking for a Local Associate Producer to work in the Boston, MA area for a new season of a Home Renovation unscripted/reality series. Expected contract term is (18 main shoot weeks/ 7 Progress B-Roll shoot weeks as needed) Starting Approx Mid-Late May, 2024 and going through Approx early January 2025 (pending Construction Schedule) ($1,200-1,300/weekly (paid on a 12 hour day = $240-260/12)

Looking for applicants with great organizational and interpersonal skills. Will be working directly with talent as well as crew so must maintain a polite, affable and calm demeanor throughout production. Cast & crew will consist of about 10-15 people.

This is a research-heavy position that involves researching creative/ story, and candidates should possess strong research and organizational skills. In addition to research, primary field duties include, but are not limited to, finding and clearing locations; casting talent for segments; tracking build progress and taking story notes.

As an Associate Producer / Researcher, you will play a crucial role in researching and developing news stories for our TV show. You will work closely with the production team to gather and verify information, conduct interviews, and assist in scriptwriting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research on news topics, including current events and politics.

Verify the accuracy of information and sources.

Assist in scriptwriting and story development.

Assist producer in managing schedules.

Collaborate with hosts, co-hosts, guests, and production staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, or related field

Previous experience in news production or journalism is preferred.

Strong research and writing skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Knowledge of current events and news media landscape

Seeking a field Associate Producer for a docu-reality series shooting in and around Charleston this summer. Previous experience working on an ensemble docu-series preferred.

Primary responsibilities will include taking detailed field notes, maintaining logs, and writing daily hot sheets.

This position will be required to work as a local in Charleston, SC.

Dates Needed: June 3rd - August 3rd

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experienced and imaginative video editor, shooter, and storyteller with a strong foundation in visual design that develops content for playback during live-concert events and social media.

EDITING (50%)
Create and implement video content for display on IMAG screens during live performances
Work with producers to managing multiple shows and projects
Multicam editing for various aspect ratios
Update and enhance existing deliverables with established templates and documents

DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKER AND STORYTELLER (40%)
Pitch creative video ideas and scripts
Produce cinematic video products for IMAG
Work with small crews with limited resources
Manage large multiday/multilocation productions
Post-produce, audio mix, and color correct
Rework products for social media
Lighting for Interviews

VIDEO E​N​G​I​N​E​E​R (10%)

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
