Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Create and assemble script for the show.
• Oversee distribution of show related paperwork to proper departments.
• Track script changes with writers, producers and production departments.
• Relay script changes to teleprompter operators and cue card team.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• 1+ yearsexperience working in News or other similar fast-paced live broadcast deadline environment.
• 2+ yearsexperience in Television Production.
• Must have knowledge of Final Draft, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Slack.
• Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be covered by Solutions, *** U's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

• Annual salary range: $61,880 - $72,800
• Hourly salary range: $17.00 - $20.00
• The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours. Hours over 40 hrs/wk will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.

Job Description

The Script Applications Coordinator is responsible for the breakdown of scripts into the script applications system (Accion) to create a database that provides the necessary information and updated statistics for the preparation of the Daily Production Plans and weekly goals.

Job Duties:

• Reads and analyzes the script(s) in an effort to breakdown the story and identify scene by scene the characters, locations, day of the story, interiors/exteriors, props, etc.
• Inputs all information obtained from the script into the script application system, Accion, and makes the necessary modifications and changes to ensure continuity in the story.
• Creates summary content reports of each chapter of the project for the Executive Producer and the Sales Department.
• Provides the producers with all necessary reports for production meetings such as chapter status, minutes produced, scripts received, etc.
• Responsible for photocopying final scripts and Daily Production Plans for all departments as well as for the talent.
• Works under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of *** *** ' infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures.
• Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment.
• Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader.
• Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the production of novelas/soap operas.
• Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be fully fluent in Spanish.
• Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions.

Additional Requirements:

• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be "on call" 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
• Must be fluent in Spanish (speak, read & write).
• Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.

• Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and natural disaster emergencies.
• Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Post Production Coordinator to support the series/film Originals Post Production team in Korea. This position would organize vital post information and workflows with an increasingly growing slate of Original Shows from pre-production through archive & wrap using internal tools, as well as working closely with our cross-functional teams within *** .

A successful candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication. The role will be focused on supporting English and Korean content that is usually produced throughout international territories with local talent and producers.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with post-production teams and partner with IT Production Support to ensure successful onboarding of shows and personnel into *** systems
• Track and manage post schedules, keeping stakeholders apprised of the status
• Maintain and curate preferred vendor lists for dailies, sound and finishing
• Research and maintain preferred freelance post-crew
• Set up and manage dailies and cut viewing access for shows
• Audit completion/delivery of post-production materials during prep, production, archive, and wrap
• 5 years as a Post Production Supervisor ( ), full-cycle Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Assistant Editor, DI Producer, Assistant Colorist, and DIT working in scripted series or feature film projects
• Experience working in post-production roles in Korea and across Asia
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment supervising several projects at various points of production (from development through delivery)

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of current trends and workflows for both UHD/4K and HDR
• Knowledge of post production finishing formats and codecs
• Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters
• Ability and willingness to travel for official work
• Team-player who operates in a fast paced team-oriented setting
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of the current post process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Mail
• Proficient in digital dailies delivery tools and production tools
• Experience with Avid *** Composer, Davinci Resolve, and professional camera formats - advantageous but not required.
• Studio or *** -focused experience required
• Fluency in English and Korean required
