Looking for a sound mixer for a true crime series shooting in Long Beach Island area of NJ. Hotels can be provided from for overnights on consecutive shoot days.
Main shoot set up is a 2 camera talking head interview, we shoot about 2 sit down interviews a day. Sometimes we will also shoot OTF interviews/walk and talks.
Gear requirements are 2x lav mics (for the occasional 2 head interview) and a boom for the interviews. We will not need comteks.
Shoot is 5/21-5/25, dates are slightly in flux. One or two days might end up being broll only.
Rate is $600/12 + $400 for gear. You will never need to be on set for full 12 hours, can hopefully accommodate drive from nearby city within the 12!

Heaven’s Diner is run by women of color who have taken justice against harassers into their own hands. They hire Lilah to walk down NYC streets at night to scout and bring back male catcallers to the diner. The staff then work together to kill and butcher the men into burgers.
It is important to me to elevate women and non-binary people in filmmaking. As a result, I will have an all female/non-binary crew, with a particular emphasis on people of color.
