- Title: Photography Education Broadcasts
- Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).
Hey, I'm Aaron, Executive Producer for Sue Bryce Education where we produce online photography education specifically around portrait photography. I'm looking for a couple camera operators who have more of a documentary background as most of our education is broadcasted live or recorded as if it was live. We've been producing online photography education for the past 2 years...
There's three types of content I currently need help capturing:
1) Pre-Recorded Photography Education: These are often 3-4 cam photography demonstrations involving an instructor, models, lighting setups, etc. that take place in-studio or in the field. These sessions are taped as if they're live and are often between 30-60 mins in length and we'll aim to sink 6 or so in a day.
2) Broadcasted Photography Education: These are either "classroom style" presentations or photoshoot demos that are all broadcasted live to our audience.
3) Studio Tours: Reality style episodes where our instructor will tour studios around the country and we'll produce a 30 minute episode.
Overall, I'm looking for someone who:
- Is familiar shooting documentary style with Canon 5d Mk iii's or iv using shoulder rigs or monopods (as this is the gear we use)
- Has experience shooting documentary style content as all of our content is done in real time, so you need to be able to make your camera moves as if you were live.
- Available to travel - Most of what we do is in our Art's District LA studio, but when we do studio tours we'll travel around the country for them.
Also note, this is an ongoing gig essentially as we have many dates speckled over our 2017 calendar. I noted it as a 3 day freelance gig, but if all goes well, we'd love to hire you for many more!
If interested please tell me a little bit about yourself. We won't read responses that are copy/paste. Thanks in advance for the time and energy!
