This position requires a high level of computer aptitude in a fast paced data environment with extreme multitasking under time constraints while requiring 100% accuracy. Ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of Operating Systems (Mac, Windows), management of files including file copying and directory management structure (file hierarchy) and expert UI navigation. Knowledge of various hard drive technology (E-Sata, Firewire) and experience with burning media disks required. General workflow will require managing 8 to 12 different processes at one time. Color Front Experience helpful. Experience with editing programs such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, After Effects or generic editing programs a plus though not mandatory.
This position will primarily be a dailies data management position working on a high profile project with high security requirements. It may require some driving to move data for uploading from one location to another.
Qualifications:
Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills is required
Good communication, strong written and verbal skills are preferred
Ability to multi task efficiently is required
Experience with editorial systems is preferred
Knowledge of professional cameras is a plus
Post Production experience is a plus
Equipment rack wiring experience is a plus
Experience in a fast paced environment is preferred
Successful candidate must be self-motivated, independent, and work well with others

Verification of files
Copy of files
File transfer
File archive
Uploading of files to FTP; aspera; etc.
Basic color-grade skills a plus
Creation of dailies deliverables including: Avid DNx; DVD ISO; BluRay; H.264; iPad dailies; etc.
Knowledge of LTO write/verify processes
Avid literacy to create and prepare media for editorial and Q.C. Of dailies
Understanding of production including reading and interpreting Camera; Sound reports and script notes
Self engineer and trouble shooting skills
Ability to communicate clearly with both clients and facility personnel
Customer relationship skills with both production & post including the Directory of Photography; DITs; Editorial; etc.
Good email etiquette
Strong attention to detail
Able to work long hours when needed including the ability to move your hours around day to day to accommodate production
Current drivers license with no driving record issues
