Job Description

The Line Producer for Noticias *** is responsible for identifying newsworthy stories, conceptualize and produce rundowns, has active participation in editorial meetings and planning, writes stories for the newscast, is able to write banners and request news graphics. Candidate must have a strong editorial background and the ability to lead a team. Candidate would need to multitask and work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. The producer has the ability to work with the news team as well as other departments including production, art department and promotions.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage content for Noticias *** Ahora streaming channel.

Responsible for selecting, assigning, writing, and organizing news stories in rundown.
Line produces live shows for streaming in a control room or Tricaster settings.
Anticipating the needs of news coverage and help coordinate video, graphics, scripts and other elements.
Organize and line produce breaking news and show updates.
Contribute to the editorial line of the day.
Work in collaboration with News Digital/Linear teams, Assignment Editors, Reporters, and production crews.
Strong writing skills. Precise, objective and sharp
