Looking for a highly talented editor with compositing experience to edit a 3 min short which will be shot in early May.

The film is about loneliness, nature, and basketball.

Must be collaborative + flexible + creative as this project is somewhat surreal. Must also have a strong understanding of visual storytelling.

Role Overview:
As a Junior Digital Editor at V10 Networks, you will be responsible for editing compilation videos and original content for V10’s network of YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram channels. This includes America’s Funniest Home Videos (AFV), Kyoot, Peachy, All The Babies, Kids Say, and new brands we're developing. This role is key in ensuring our content is visually stunning and engaging for fans across channels.

Role is hybrid in the office 2-3 days per week. Office locations in Santa Monica and Burbank.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos and clips, ensuring high viewership and engagement across multiple platforms.
- Execute technical editing tasks including syncing, sequencing, color correction, sound mixing, pan and scan, reformatting, and transcoding.
- Work with a variety of formats, adapting content for different social media platforms and long-form channels.
- Collaborate with creative teams to maintain the V10 brand’s aesthetic and storytelling standards.


Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong experience in video editing, particularly for social media and digital platforms.
- Knowledge of media management and an understanding of viral video trends.
- Excellent technical skills in video editing and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

The rate is DOE; the Role is freelance with potential for full-time status after a trial period.Location: Los Angeles

Seeking a freelance Video & Audio Editor for a successful video podcast. Qualified candidates are generally awesome in the following areas:

- Proficiency in standard editing software, such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, and Frame.io
- Proficiency with editing in Descript, or willing to learn, including exporting editing Timelines
- Experience cutting trailers from longform content, with an eye toward comedic timing and highlighting dramatic moments

Looking for an AE with media management experience and Avid expertise. Job will be Monday-Friday in office at Venice, CA. Flexibility with hours needed but no crazy long days. Familiarity with Netflix media management is a big plus.

More detailed description:
The Edit assistant will follow the workflow set out in the Post Production guidelines below. The edit assistant will be responsible for wrangling of all camera cards, saving and backing up the footage. They will be required to be in the office to manage all the media coming and going from location, saving using correct naming conventions and logging this footage in the database. They may be required to have flexible work hours on occasions to ingest media for a tight turn around. They will also be required to do cast cutdowns and scene cuts as instructed by the Director or Senior Field Producer The edit assistant will also communicate regularly with the Sydney, Australia Post Production team as they will work closely on downloading all the footage sent from the US office. There is a tight turnaround between the shoot and the edit happening in Australia ,the edit assistant needs to make sure that efficiency and attention to detail at all times.

Looking to hire a creative and intuitive Los Angeles editor with an eye for detail and actor performance for an indie thriller/action film. Aprox 90 min.

Movie has a few Jason Bourne fights in it and needs a clean steady smooth flow like a David Fincher film. Work closely with director. Premiere or Avid but not looking for Final Cut.
