Job Description:

As part of this opportunity, you'll work directly with the Studio team where you’ll be tasked with managing project media, archives & providing support to all video groups across Vox Media properties (The Verge, Polygon, SB Nation, Racked, Curbed, Eater, Vox.com, Re/code and Vox Creative). This is a second shift position, and will occasionally call for later night and weekend work. Though training will be provided, previous experience in a post-production facility is required.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining archive procedures, and workflows
Ingest/logging all media from SD/Cf cards and HDDs to the SAN
Data entry for corresponding media.
SAN support as needed.
Gathering assets for editors
Maintaining database of all projects across Vox properties
Possible equipment help
Assistance with studio shoots
Light AE work

Skills and Experience:

Mac operating systems & hardware
Knowledge of codecs and file types

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.
