The Post Production Coordinator is a full time staff role at Big Breakfast/CollegeHumor responsible for organizing post production elements and scheduling for a new and specific slate of CollegeHumor original content. Working in this department requires an appreciation and enjoyment of comedy. This position reports to the Post Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate Post Production elements on CollegeHumor weekly series and other digital productions
-Collaborate across post department (Post Supervisor, Editors, AEs) and production department (Directors, Producers, Big Breakfast Executives) to design and oversee post schedules and workflows
-When necessary, assist in hiring and overseeing freelance editors, assistant editors, motion graphics artists and post PAs
-Create VFX breakdowns for videos, and work with VFX Animators to ensure timely creation and delivery of assets
-Provide updates to Post Supervisor on status of projects, and escalate issues as necessary.
-Liaise between editors and creatives on cuts and feedback
-When necessary, run voiceover sessions in ADR booth
-Keep post calendars and tracker sheets up to date, and communicate any schedule changes to stakeholders
-QC footage and final cuts, confirming they meet CollegeHumor required production standards
-Work with Content Management team and EPs to set and meet release schedule
-Complete other post production related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
-1-3 years in post production, preferably as Post Coordinator
-Familiarity with production and post production for digital content specifically
-Strong administrative and organizational skills, with experience creating and maintaining schedules for multiple simultaneous projects
-Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere and Photoshop, a big plus
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-This is a full time staff position. Must be available to work in our West Hollywood office Monday-Friday, 10-6.
-Must be available to work overtime if needed including evenings and occasional weekends.
