We are a reality docu-series that is in need of a local set decorator to assist with general set decorating duties for our filming locations. Duties would include:

- buying and returning set decoration
- communicating and working with the creative team to help create the look desired
- being available on set during shooting for any last minute changes

This candidate should be local to the area, and have their own transportation. The shoot dates for the project are 4/23, 4/24, and 4/26.

The Position

*** is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative conceptual design leader to oversee visual storytelling, art and design creative across the Brand and Partnerships teams. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the next phase of the *** Brand and create a brand belief system that will shape decisions across the company and build long-lasting emotional connections with consumers.

As the Art Director, you will be responsible for collaborating with a team of designers (both internally + externally) and partner with freelance ADs to develop and execute on the master brand positioning and strategy. You'll give the conceptual brand work visual life and ensure all shipped work is on-brief, on-brand and on-time.

You'll not only lead the art direction of 360, brand-centric campaigns that will drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention across all the channels but create and foster genuine brand love for *** .

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience designing for in-house or studio/agency partner teams; link to online portfolio of work that showcases your unbridled design passion required
A deep design background, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in concept and entertainment design, typography, layout, form, motion design and composition
Experience collaborating with and designing for creative marketing campaigns with best-in-class Brand partners. You've designed for screens, live events, social, merch and multi *** spaces.
A proven history of designing breakthrough 360 campaigns across all platforms and inspiring work for a challenger brand in order to differentiate in a crowded marketplace.

The Plasterer 200 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to plastering normal finishes and simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, brick, stone wood). The removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt. This will include shop work, field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment of. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and use normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering, all maintenance teams including attractions, ride and show, and infrastructure facilities.

The Plasterer 755 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to model and mold making (fiberglass and silicone), fiberglass repair, and manufacturing and casting parts in materials such as urethanes, epoxies and resins. Those in this position may also include the removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt, the fabrication of MACON parts and the repair and refurbishment of character heads. This will include shop work, as well as field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment or model making. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and the use of normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering and all maintenance teams including Attractions, Ride and Show, and Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

The Plasterer 200 role is responsible to:

Have the ability to safely use and maintain basic hand tools, to operate pneumatic and electric powered tools utilizing the proper safety precautions including personal protective equipment, and the ability to operate a man lift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, and both gas and electric powered carts
To read blueprints and follow engineering instructions. The ability to use or learn to use MAXIMO (a work order tracking system), as well as to follow check lists to safely handle materials, lock-out and tag-out of attractions, operate department equipment and vehicles and know what actions to take in case of a failure

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience managing a small team of more than one designer varying team (local and remote)
Hands-on leader, creating various layouts and comps to final key art (digital)
Assures design deadlines are met
Execute final designs-adjusting style, images, branding-as well as presentation decks
Participate in briefing and ideation phase to develop compelling key art that's on-brand
Brief designers on specific key art projects and, working with Creative Directors, provide constructive feedback
Work on single IP in all areas of static-content creative-key art development and finishing, digital, marketing decks, and in-situ delivery
Have a strong understanding of grid use, typography, and hierarchy of information
Outside-the-box thinker for creative solutions
Support the Creative Director
Train junior design staff on new technology, new software knowledge
Be accountable in every area: adherence to project timelines, account team support and service, and collaboration among all team members
Take initiative and prioritize tasks; have excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Take direction from the SVP, VP, Senior Art Directors, and all assigned stakeholders while meeting multiple deadlines
Participate in the creative/direction process with the SVP, VP, Senior Art Director, and Copywriters
Gain understanding of business partners' strategies and objectives
Stay abreast of current technology and design trends in the visual communication industry

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in graphic design with 5+ years' design or agency experience
Strong visual design skills and portfolio
Proficient in latest Mac software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and additional relevant programs
Top-notch portfolio with a track record of carrying out world-class entertainment campaigns
Ability to successfully manage time, workflow, and schedule
Excellent verbal/written communications skills
Self-starter with the passion, ability, and energy to work in a fast-paced environment
Clear understanding of meeting project deadlines
Entertainment industry experience a plus

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of *** Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, *** Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
