Basic Qualifications

OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an eager and extraordinary Financial Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining financial metadata in system and processing payments for Development and Overhead Finance for *** *** . This role will be involved with various aspects of finance such as administration, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. This position will report to Manager of Development Finance, and there will be significant interaction with the department members and other finance groups as well as outside vendors.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Assist in processing payroll (working with Entertainment Partners and Cast & Crew)

- Create purchase orders and processes invoices relating to projects, term deals, and overhead expenses

- Aid in the on-boarding and off-boarding of new vendors and term deal employees

- Enter contractual obligations in SAP and maintain project metadata

- Review incoming payment authorizations against contracts and create associated payment schedules

- Compile and organize backup documentation for journal entries

- Assist in preparation of financial supporting schedules including cost-to-date summaries

- Supports special projects and ad hoc analysis as required


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

As a key member of the team, the Senior Financial Analyst will perform essential Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) duties including assisting with the preparation of the annual Financial Budget, Monthly Forecasts, and Cause of Change, and Return on Investment analysis. Basic Qualifications

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the *** *** Financial Planning and Analysis P&L team! The department coordinates with other divisions and *** to maintain financial projections (ultimates/lifetimes) for the more than 150 current and library titles that are produced and co-produced by the Studio. The department also coordinates with other internal divisions for information required in order to prepare *** *** ' monthly forecasts and annual budgets. The department prepares projected financial statements, presentations and variance analyses which are presented to senior management and submitted to the Corporate Finance team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the management and preparation of the P&L for annual budget and monthly forecasting.
• Update and maintain show ultimates, P&L forecast templates, and various reports used during annual budget, monthly actuals and monthly forecasting.
• Assist in reviewing the work of others on the P & L team.
• Coordinate with other divisions and operational units during the planning process to ensure information is accurate and includes reasonable assumptions.
• Assist in P&L actuals analyses with the Accounting Department.
• Assist in preparation of variance analyses comparing to prior forecast, budget and prior year.
• Assist in the management and oversight of *** *** ' TM1/SAC planning systems, working to improve processes and implement efficiencies.
• Work with management to improve reporting for senior management.

DUTIES:
• Lead and support accounting operations, including accounting close process, and accurate preparation of financial accounting results and management reporting, including review of journal entries and monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances.

Overview and Responsibilities:
• Heavy calendaring and meeting coordination (including international time zones)
