Job Description
What you'll do:
At *** , Booking Producers work within a show unit to pitch ideas as well as book guests for a live show.
Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
- Find and book compelling guests for the show, following booking protocols.
- Maintain planning editorial calendar with important upcoming news events and book relevant guests in advance
- Book guests for breaking news events (this may include early morning or after-hours outreach)
- Implement work with guidance from Senior and Executive Producer.
- Conduct pre-interviews of guests and identify key headlines for segment
- Handle any necessary travel logistics for guests
- Coordinate with guests and companies to secure guest headshots
- Establish, develop and maintain good relationships with financial and business news sources.
- Work with anchors on confirming their bookings and coordinating logistics
- Book control room and edit time for pre-recorded guest segments

Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5years of experience booking and producing in a live television environment with demonstrated booking ability/contacts, research skills and communication skills
- Experience communicating with high-profile guests in sensitive news situations
