Your New Role...

The London based Senior Analyst will report into the SVP International Business Operations and play a critical role in supporting, developing and implementing strategies for the WBD International Organization. In this role you will work with all members of the International Business Operations team on key growth opportunities and operating projects across the WBD International organization. You will be responsible for leading the analysis of business performance and market trends, managing strategic projects, liaising with partners from across WBD International and the rest of the company, and providing support to senior leaders across the organization. The Senior Analyst will work across a wide array of projects, providing leadership on our global windowing strategy, supporting streaming market launch strategies, improving internal operations, and evaluating financial performance of key business segments.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Playing a critical role in developing, communicating and implementing the growth strategy and objectives for WBD International and its senior management (including portfolio and business optimization, future-proofing business plans and analyzing strategic and financial tradeoffs to support decisions making.
  
• Providing critical support on windowing decisions across international markets to drive the execution of our global studio monetization strategy.
  
• Analyzing market trends and providing insights and recommendations on the future growth opportunities in the *** industry and playing a critical role on projects that lead to the implementation and execution of those strategies.
  
• Working as part of the broader WBD International team to support the upcoming launch of Max. Primarily focused on providing analysis to support programming and distribution strategies.
  
• Supporting the International Business Operations team's VP and SVP and broader WBD leadership team on key strategic projects by providing analysis across key work streams within broader projects including conducting due diligence, building strategic / financial analysis, and developing strategic narratives.
  
• Working in both a supporting with the WBD International leadership on projects to define strategies, prioritize opportunities, improve processes, identify commercial opportunities and play a role as connector / facilitator *** ween WBD International and the global business units within the company (e.g., Streaming and *** ).
  
• Working with the broader International Business Operations team on global projects to support the WBD International President, Regional Presidents and WBD International CFO to create strategic presentations.
  

Qualifications & Experience...

The Director, Delivery Solutions will be accountable for overall project health with a focus on project profitability, operational excellence, risk mitigation and resolution, and overall delivery of the assigned portfolio. He/she/they will build strong relationships with all parts of the business to define viable approaches/methodologies for delivery in line with relevant industry standards and best practices.

Candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in leading, structuring, delivering, and managing complex integrated digital solutions for large multichannel clients, with teams based around the world. Candidate should have the ability to lead multiple projects through scope/discovery, estimation, development, implementation, and post deployment activities such as maintenance and enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Iterative / Lean / Agile methodologies as well as experience managing repeatable executional processes; especially the management of multiple and simultaneous development projects. He or she should have significant experience in client relationship management, people management, strong team leadership, and complex delivery management with both internal and external teams.

What you'll do

• Build dynamic partnerships across iCrossing practices and client teams to best support program goals and evolve delivery approach to stay in alignment with client business needs
• Develop and sustain relationships with client stakeholders, project owners and client management leadership

Job Summary

The Global Technology Operations Center (GTOC) department consists of several teams that work together with a one-team approach, across the USA, UK, and Poland.

We are the first point of contact for technical issues and owners of Major Incident Management within *** Discovery. The GTOC teams are responsible for initiating the major incident process, triaging technical problems, and escalating to support our broadcast/streaming infrastructure.

Digital Platform Support Analyst, supports an extensive suite of Live, VOD, OTT/Digital Playout via client applications. You will report to the Duty Operations Manager and be part of a team made up of Juniors, Analysts and Senior Analysts.

You will primarily focus on live Sports through our *** , Eurosport, Discovery Plus and GCN brands. Think Olympics, Premier League, Champions League, ATP Tennis and Tour de France as a start.

The position is a shift based role, requiring flexibility with working hours as weekends and public holidays are some of our busiest times. For major events, you may be required to work overnight. You will be working as part of a unified team, which consists of members from multiple disciplines (Platforms, Networks & Digital), to form a dynamic technology-focused team, capable of monitoring all linear and non-linear output, as well as supporting IT infrastructure.

You will be expected to use your operational analytics and incident management skills to provide support for all issue areas, working with support teams/engineers for a swift resolution to any technical issues. You will also be expected to support and educate your team members about new processes, while independently keeping your technical know-how up to date.

Having a versatile personality and technical skillset, with the ability to stay focused and continually develop is key to being successful in this role. Successful candidates for this role need to have prior experience in leading difficult situations, staying calm, reacting quickly under pressure, and being able to execute the key responsibilities noted below.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor WBD's OTT infrastructure systems and video streams in real-time, using both eyes-on-glass, and automated monitoring methods to ensure programme KPIs are always upheld.
• Respond to automated alarms/alerts and carry out defined analysis, triaging and/or escalate to relevant engineering teams within agreed SLAs.
• Analyze all client issues escalated by customer ser *** teams, as well as internal production/content operation teams, being the primary point of contact
• Ensure all issues are logged and tracked through to resolution, leveraging the ITIL principle of Incident, Problem, and Change management.
• Ensure detailed shift handover among colleagues.
• Provide support to the Senior Analysts and Duty Operations Managers in the management of high priority outages as needed, providing stakeholder communications at agreed intervals until resolution of the issue with root cause is determined.
• Coordinate with vendors and 3rd party suppliers on relevant issue reporting/resolution, post-incident reports, onboardings, ser *** reviews, and system migrations/deployments.
• Engage in regular internal stakeholder meetings (customer services, production/content operations, QA team, product owners and engineering teams)
• Perform sanity checks on back-end systems/front-end platforms after deployments and releases, and provide feedback to engineering teams regularly.
• Update department support documentation promptly to reflect all changes (Knowledgebase, Run Books, etc..).

Qualifications

• Previousexperience working in digital technical operations or *** operations environment
• Experience in monitoring and supporting OTT platforms
• Working experience in handling HD and SD video feed input
• Working experience with CMS and EPG systems

• Oversee and lead a Digital Collections portfolio of approx. $100M -includes actively resolving discrepancies & translating to cash.
• Performing follow-ups on accounts with significant aging or past due amounts.
• Supporting customer's ad-hoc requests (statement of accounts, invoice copies, backup documentation, accounts reconciliations, etc.)
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes/issues by working with Client Services, Sales Teams, and other departments, as needed.
• Ability to work closely with the Billing Analyst on invoices that need to be re-billed.
• Meeting individual cash collection targets (Aging, DSO, % of Overdue, etc.)
• Raising concerns such as changes in the customers payment trends.
• Assists in A/R related special projects including unapplied cash reconciliations, trends, discrepant reports, and accounts at risk.
• Supporting the Cash Application team in the account reconciliation process (addressing cash application issues and following-up with customers on missing documentation & remittances).
• Review Credit Applications from Clients applying for credit.
• Perform credit line evaluation, monitor payment patterns, and order review.
• Set up credit files and send applications to outside payment vetting service.
• Assist the collection team on collection issues such as providing contact info.
• Prepare digital refund requests.
• Work with management to provide accurate cash forecast models.
• Some key projects include:
o Reconcile accounts on a timely basis by regularly following up on unidentified cash receipts and credits.
o Supporting OTC Projects like sending a Discrepant Report to Sales, updating Check Expected Report, and Reconciling Aged Transactions.

Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years of similar working experience, preferably in online entertainment.
• General knowledge of accounting principles with strong detail-orientation with a penchant for data accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.

The BD & Strategy function is responsible for strategic initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, new product launches, joint ventures and M&A, as well as supporting the optimization of business performance in EMEA.
Working closely with EMEA business leads, the BD & Strategy team provides invaluable support and direction in driving long term growth and delivering global strategic goals. The department works in close collaboration with Burbank based teams focused on global Strategy & Business Operations.
The team's activities and accomplishments contribute to the growth and success of TWDC EMEA.

Role description and responsibilities

The Analyst will assist and support the Business Development & Strategy team with the development and delivery of EMEA-wide business strategies and initiatives.

The role requires superior strategic and analytical skills - and the ability to apply these effectively as part of the BD&S team. you will posses the ability to interface with multiple levels of management, ranging from senior corporate executives to local managers in the field, and executives at potential strategic partner companies.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Organic development

• Support strategic and financial analysis of growth opportunities, ranging from D2C product launches, to optimization of linear channel portfolio, to content windowing across TWDC platforms
• Working with BD team to engage with regional LOB leads and local Country Managers to build business cases for new opportunities, identifying associated revenue streams, costs and risks
• Provide advanced business modelling/analysis (including interpretation) of financial data to support business operations
• Support the analytical review of business plans prepared by local Country Managers to test viability and alignment to overall company goals

Strategy & Planning

• Analysis of key market trends and competitors to provide insights for senior management to ensure effective decision making
• Support preparation of the annual strategic business review and 5 year plan
• Prepare analysis to support content investment strategies across *** 's various *** distribution outlets including theatrical, linear networks, and direct-to-consumer
• Tracking and analysing key business performance trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement
• Support organisational transformation initiatives

Partnerships / Joint Ventures / M&A

• Assessing potential partnerships to support the growth of *** +
• Calculate internal and target company valuations, monitoring of competitor quarterly earnings to identify insights

Operations

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• Experience working in a top tier Management/Strategy consultancy firm within the *** sector, and/or experience of working within a *** organisation's central BD/strategy team
• Strong analytics - ability to think in structured way (both conceptually and analytically) and to perform/ review complex quantitative analysis to inform business decisions
• Experience in financial and valuation models, and ability to apply financial analysis in solving business problems and integrating financial discipline into operational decision making
• Demonstrable track record of delivery and ability to support and execute projects to an extremely high standard and to demanding deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to produce accurate reports and to engage with group employees of different countries and of all levels
• Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally some experience with Big Data analytical tools, e.g. Tableau, Alteryx or similar

OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The *** Tax Department is seeking a Senior International Tax Analyst for the Company's non-US operations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of International Tax Compliance, this role supports the US tax compliance function of the international operations of *** Global. • Prepare and maintain tax attributes such as earnings & profits and tax basis

• Assist in review and analysis of transactions to determine any tax and reporting impact
• Monitor current and proposed legislative developments, US and foreign, to determine any potential impact to the organization
• Handle administrative IRS international matters (Form 8832 entity classification elections and Form SS-4 EIN applications)
• Coordinate and analyze annual data information requests with business units

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant Finance field is required
• 5 +years of US tax compliance, international experience (Forms 8858/5471/8865) is preferred
