We're searching for a Senior Creative Content Lead, Video, Middle East & Africa who will be an ambassador for *** *** *** in Dubai. This candidate will be a proven creative leader who can work closely with clients to develop and present creative content solutions. They should have high-level video and design capabilities, be able to leverage relationships to build creative partnerships in the Middle East and Africa, and create buzz in the region about *** *** *** and our work for clients.
As a lead for the *** *** *** ' Middle East & Africa video team, the Senior Creative Content Lead, Video will work closely with the Executive Editor, senior producers and design leads. He or she will augment that team with a talented and diverse group of freelancers and vendors that can contribute to ideation as well as execution of projects. The Middle East & Africa Studio serves many different markets, and the senior Creative Content Lead, Video is responsible for developing relationships with on-the-ground talent in each and every market.
The Senior Creative Content Lead, Video will have strong relationships with sales, strategy and data science leadership and will work collaboratively with these teams in client presentations and developing new business.

The Senior Creative Content Lead, Video connects regularly with the Global Creative Head of Video and the Regional Managing Editor to share best practices and ensure that *** *** *** maintains a consistent global voice while understanding the unique qualities of the Middle East & Africa region.

- Collaborate closely with sales, client marketing, strategy and data science leadership to develop and align creative ideas and content with audience insights and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with wider (and relevant) editorial teams to keep abreast of applicable editorial integration opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and legal teams on all matters pertaining to production budgets, risk assessments, SoWs, talent/location agreements and vendor contracts.Leading on Ideation:
- Together with Executive Editor, and Senior Design lead, Developing and leading on best-in-class and innovative custom content creative ideas for all client campaigns that span across BMS's product offering including (but limited to) film/video, audio/podcast, digital/article/immersive, social content - ensuring all elements in a campaign have a unified/interlinked look and feel. Develop and pitch video treatments that break through and raise the bar for both internal teams and production partners
- Shape the creative to match the treatment and style to our range of *** platforms (TV, OTT, Digital, Social)
- Developing and executing innovative content strategies for various platforms including digital, broadcast, experiential/events and emerging *** .
- Developing and managing stand-out proposals in accordance with BMS Pre-sales masterclass.Client Relationships:
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop and execute creative content solutions.
- Build confidence with clients through compelling presentation of content ideas, present BMS custom content proposals to potential and existing clients
- Manage client relationships to an exceptional standard while on set.
- Collaborate closely with clients during post-production and delivery phases, in partnership with the Client solutions Team.
- Overall, build healthy and lasting relationships with all BMS clients. Conceive of storytelling strategies and ideas that respond to client business objectivesEnd-to-end Production Management:
- Autonomously own a large project from kickoff to completion, often balancing multiple projects at once
- Manage the projects but also be equally comfortable in taking a hands-on approach, being able to ideate, storyboard, direct and orient animation, sound design or any other motion design element to ensure the highest quality video storytelling is achieved
- Field Production: attend and manage shoots, ensuring robust and high quality execution according to creative direction and video briefs. Interview contributors with a high degree of professionalism
- Oversee, manage and track production budgets (estimated in pre-sales and actual in post-sales) and production schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within available financial guidelines.
- Bid, Budget, schedule, and track finance for multiple client projects simultaneously
- Managing project-based budget reconciliation and reporting during key periods throughout the year.
- Working closely with the Executive Editor to ensure quality assurance on all elements of production are delivered to an exceptional standard including (but not limited to) creative execution, messaging, storytelling.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all content aligns with *** 's brand and ethical standards.
- Vendor Management: Source and cultivate region-wide relationships with external creative and production vendors, talent, and industry i *** uencers to enhance content quality and outreach.
- Developing a tight process for briefing vendors and assessing incoming proposals and supplier quotes, while building a solid and reliable selection of preferred regional vendors, negotiating preferable rate cards in return for volume of work. Ensure the highest quality work with our production partners at every step: from pre-production, through post, up to and including final delivery
- Business Development: Collaborate with regional sales teams to create new business opportunities.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, incorporating best practices into studio operations.
- Generate innovative Ideas: Work across all existing and emerging platforms and inspire colleagues to create world-class, pioneering work and content
- Regional knowledge: Candidate should have deep knowledge and experience working in the MEA Region, as well as a sound understanding of the energy, finance and technology themes and issues important to our clients and our audience
- Elevate the Creative: Push the envelope on storytelling formats and impeccable design for our range of video products: social-first, long-form to multi-wave episodic content
You'll need to have:- A stellar body of work, including work for *** , Finance, Technology and Luxury brands (personal work is also encouraged
- 7-10 years professional work experience leading video productions and post productions
- A firm understanding of all aspects of the pre- and post-production process as it pertains to video and animation
- Proficient at Microsoft Office, Google Calendar. SmartSheets is a plus
- An easygoing attitude, calm under pressure, client facing, and personable
- Excellent spoken and written communication with a heavy dose of storytelling
- Creative or content/publisher/agency/consultancy experience at management level
- Knowledge of Middle East & Africa business landscape and experience working with clients and vendors in the region
- Great presentation and time management skills
- Proven skills in presenting, client partnership and visual communication
- Knowledge of the capabilities of modern web technologies and desire to stay at the forefront as new technologies emerge
- Broad knowledge of social *** and digital communications
- Advanced knowledge of video, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process
- Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely, helpful feedback to improve creative processes and to keep work on budget and schedule
