I excelled in pitching jokes, developing plot, character design, script formatting, production coordinating (tons of files) & script distribution for this new FOX animated comedy, airing in January 2016. Was promised a promotion to STAFF WRITER, by creator Mark Hentemann, but alas... the show was cancelled.

At 7ate9, I assisted with writing and developing concepts / scripts for commercials (Nintendo and Disney), as well as reality shows (Human Safari). For Hitfix, I wrote/edited online skits for their comedic website.

Writers' Assistant duties for this Fox pilot, created by Andrea Abbate. I was responsible for script coordination with cast, directors, and other executives - all while contributing with pitches during the rewriting process.

Seasons 1-2. Responsible for the coordination & organization of scripts & the many drafts, outlines, notes, clearances & proofing that accompanied them. Duties required communication w/ Casting, Directors, Legal & Production. In charge of handling the show’s twitter feed. Freelance artist; animating a scene along with several illustrations used as props throughout 1 episode.

I was hired (freelance) to digitally and physically animate a scene featured on an episode of the ABC show. Also designed and drew several props used on camera for the episode as well.

My 1st LA gig was with "Family Guy / American Dad!". I learned the true meaning of a "work family", while learning a ton about production and all the creativity that goes into running a show or two. Going above and beyond-- I was constantly creating fun, new morale-boosting tasks & employee art-shows to keep the team creative and happy. I even became a reoccurring background character on the show, and I'm the founder of the (now champion) American Dad softball team. I still keep in touch with most of the crew, as it truly was a family. Duties: PHOTOSHOPPING promotional material & comedic memos, managing multiple phones, distributing / processing time cards & paychecks. Coordinating departments, schedules, meetings, airdates, ratings, crew events, and IMDB credits. Designed poster for Comic-Con and Variety Magazine. Consistently encouraged fun around the office with humorous memos, marker board art contests, etc.

2021 Update: this project is back, out of hibernation, and currently in pre-production with an Oscar-winning director attached. Stay tuned! Previous Description: Overbrook Entertainment and Original Film both optioned this feature screenplay before making it onto the 2009 Blacklist, the same year as “The King’s Speech” and “The Social Network.” At the time - it was managed by Anonymous Content.

Served as DP, Lead Camera Operator & Sound Technician on an independent documentary that followed an African American Fraternity throughout a “Step show” competition at Indiana University. Logging tapes, B-roll, interviews - it was a 2-3 man crew so I pretty much did it all. Great experience!
