My focus while a costume buyer was on the time period flashbacks and special events on screen; Late Victorian, early 90s, and formal attire. My responsibilities included pulling from rental houses to help create period looks for over 70 background actors, pre-fittings, and polishing on set.
Summary
I have loved costumes since 1996 when I discovered it as a career path. Since finishing grad school for costumes in 2007 I have been professionally designing & styling on the East and West coasts. Some Favorites: Thai food, X-men, & Vintage hats

My responsibilities included contemporary shopping at local and online retailers. Pulling clothing options to fit the Costume Designer's vision, building character closets for principal cast. The cast includes teenage girls with completely different ascetics. While a Costume Buyer I also sourced vendors for customized athletic gear on a tight deadline.
