As the producer I develop concepts, organize shoot logistics and book crew, produce and direct shoots in the field, write scripts and oversee edits until completion.

6 x 58’original documentary series about our relationship with man’s best friend, told through 6 very different stories from all corners of the globe. While being involved with the production of all episodes, the episode I was most heavily involved in, from development right through to post production, tells the story of New York as a city of dog lovers, in particular the city’s love affair with rescue dogs.

8 x 42’ documentary series for CNN with correspondent Lisa Ling. For this season I worked on an episode taking an in depth look at the Salvadoran street gang MS-13, a journalistically challenging and politically sensitive show that involved working closely with law enforcement, international experts on the gang, and ex gang members themselves.

5’ documentaries about the prestigious architectural firm Grimshaw and their recent projects in the US. I directed 4 films as part of this series, telling the story of how the New York office of this British firm came to be, what it’s like to work in the New York office, and the story of two of their most recent projects to be completed – the Queens Museum and the West Union building at Duke University in North Carolina. The stories are told through interviews with the key architects, those who commissioned and those who use the buildings, as well as sumptuous visuals that show off the architecture in question to its fullest.

1 x 50’ documentary examining attitudes to transgender rights in the southern states of America in the run up to the 2016 Presidential election, presented by Abi Austen, the first British army officer to transition 10 years ago. As the rest of the crew were based in the UK I researched stories, set up shoots and liaised with contributors in the US in the run up to filming. I coordinated and supervised shoots in the field and acted as sound operator when needed.
