A 5 part original travel series that shines a light on 5 different cities across the world, showing viewers the hidden treasures and experiences that are there if only they knew where to look, as shown by the people who know the cities the best – the locals who live there. As well as producing and co directing the series I was instrumental in developing the concept and format, and was involved in the process of making the series from development to the end of the edit.

30 minute documentary showing the biggest stories of 2016 before they happen. Producing this film included securing access to China’s secretive Olympic training camps, filming testing of brand new marine technology in the Netherlands and building relationships with PTSD sufferers and therapists at the University of Southern California. I was involved in the process of making the film from development right through to the end of the edit.

5 part documentary series showing what it’s like to work in the emerging industries of the future. Top level access secured and stories produced with the likes of Virgin Galactic, Valve Corporation, Ossur Bionics in Iceland, Kruger National Park, Biz Stone, cofounder of Twitter, and the University of Maastricht. I was instrumental in the development of the series, and was involved in ever aspect from development right through to the end of the edit.

15 minute documentary that posits the all too plausible scenario of us losing the race against drug resistance in malaria, resulting in catastrophic epidemics in Africa and elsewhere. This involved an extensive amount of research to construct hypothetical scenarios for the script and securing access to international experts in their field as interviewees, as well as overseeing shoots in the field.

Along with the Drone Rangers this was one of two pilots that I co produced for Economist Films that led to a year’s worth of programming being commissioned. It involved extensive and high level liaising with both Portugal and Colorado’s drug policy lawmakers, as well as securing an interview with former president of Colombia, César Gaviria and supervising shoots in the field.

1 x 50’ Economics documentary presented by economist Will Hutton. Twenty years after writing and broadcasting The State We’re In, an account of Britain’s malaise in the 1990s, Will reassess the condition of British society in this landmark documentary for Channel 4. As well as setting up shoots across the UK I also shot second camera and produced briefing notes for the Director and Presenter and supervised shoots in the field.

2 x 58’ Current affairs documentary exploring the impact ultra high net worth individuals, the so called ‘super rich’ have on the rest of us, and why the British government is so keen on attracting them. On this critically acclaimed series I was instrumental in securing high level access to academic experts and conducting thorough journalistic investigation to strict BBC standards, as well as supervising shoots in the field.

I returned to my role on Street Genius to help develop the second series. When production started I again directed a team of researchers that designed experiments, as well as coordinated engineers, locations and contributors in setting up shoots in Las Vegas.

32 x 22’ Science / engineering series that sees presenter Tim Shaw take to the streets of Loas Angeles and Las Vegas to show people why things do what they do in a huge number of truly extraordinary science demonstrations. I directed a team of researchers that designed experiments, as well as coordinated engineers, locations and contributors in setting up shoots in both cities, I produced in the field and did a large amount of development work from Renegade's offices in the UK.

Big budget entertainment series which sets 16 chefs the task of cooking their way across America for a chance to win a $100,000 cash prize. I was embedded with the contributors throughout, shooting additional material for each episode and working closely with the field director to develop storylines.
