I gather airing information for every broadcast project, including: Public Service Announcements, Satellite Media Tours, B-Rolls and Audio News Releases. With that information, I create activity reports for clients, which outline when and where their interview or announcement was aired. In order to track all projects, I use Nielsen Monitoring Service and perform self-searches with the Critical Mention BETA platform. I use the self-service Critical Mention platform, which allows me to combine television airings for projects edit video clips. The data is then ingested into our internal platforms to create client reports. Projects are tracked anywhere from two months to multiple years, depending on the clients' needs. Within the past year, I have been involved with developing an online platform where clients can access their reports. I have been assigned with creating mock-ups for developers and working with them to update and perform QA testing on development stories in Jira.

I worked closely with approximately 20 media consultants and communicated with clients via e-mail and phone. For each media consultant, I proofread advertisements for telephone directories, online advertising and direct mail pieces. Once I approved the creative designs, I submitted them for final approval. As an initiative to gain new business, I gathered and sent media kits to potential clients in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. I compiled client advertising data on Excel spreadsheets and distributed to various managers throughout a nation-wide company.

As the court and crime reporter for the Juneau County Star-Times, I covered circuit court appearances, hearings and trials. I also attended and reported on city council and school board meetings. It was my responsibility to take my own photographs to accompany my stories, which I would edit using Photoshop and then create pages using QuarkXPress. I was also the first reporter to begin placing all stories, photographs and obituaries on the JCST website. Before covering Juneau County, I was the part-time city reporter for the Portage Daily Register. At The Register, I covered evens in the city and throughout Columbia County, WI. I reported on events that took place in the evening and on weekends. Each week I would have approximately two articles and photographs appearing in the paper.
