Ensured production ran smooth - first one on set to prepare for the day and last one to leave after breaking down and cleaning studio. When free time was available, I assisted the photography crew to help set up the shot while talent was getting ready.

Worked with both wired boom mic's and wireless LAV's. Subject could either be in the form of a sit down interview or Run n Gun style.

Doc-series, Run N Gun, Gorilla filmmaking, as well as sit down interviews. Involved in the set up and break down interviews - Light interviews, assist in finding a shot, running and monitoring audio. Once the shot is locked upon director approval, I operate the camera for the entirety of the intv. Shot in California, Hawaii, China, Brazil, France and Canada.

Ensuring project fluidity between multiple editors. Would edit smaller pieces inside the larger episode, as well as media manage and feather editors edits for final output as well as mix sound. Sound mix generally involves 2-4 channels of interview audio, 2 channels of music and sound effects when present (another 1-4 channels). Also responsible for creating all deliverables for client and getting those files into their hands - Commercials (in 1:1, 9:16 & 16:9 formats), both in a hi res and internet ready compressed file. Created compression settings specific for those social assets as well as compression settings for the final episode QT file.

Gathering archives that ranged from the 1950's to present day on episode topics, all related to the history of skateboarding. Methods to do so included internet and magazine research, digitizing VHS, DVD's, print media, photographer's archives (35mm & 120 film), super 8 film, etc.. and then organizing and delivering to the editor(s). Also tracking down the people who had the archives. This also included going to other countries and doing so... China, Brazil, Canada & France

Behind the Scene Still photographer for music video. Photos shot on a Nikon F2, Nikon FM2 and Rollieflex f/3.5 on both negative and positive 35mm/120 film, pushed +2- +3 stops.

Responsibilities included setting up and breaking down the camera, cleaning film gate, assisting in loading/ switching and labeling magazines along with slating each scene and having gear on stand by if needed (lens, additional mags). In charge of filling out reports during shoot, along with delivering exposed film to the lab for processing.

Shot the live coverage footage for The skateboarding Hall of Fame in Anaheim 3 years running.

Covering a skateboard contest at a D.I.Y park in Oakland, CA. Along with being an operator, I managed the other operators (Six) to make sure they knew their position when shooting and to remember to continually roll unless there was a battery or card change.

Manage a 7 camera shoot (a combination of Sony, Panasonic, Red, and Canon) and convert all media for editor to work. Ensure all media was on two matching drives at all times.

Ensure everyone on set had what they needed at all times, both crew and talent. After, I would check in with each department and lend a hand where needed.

Live skateboard contest video at a D.I.Y skatepark in Oakland, CA. Preliminary/ heat runs edited in a highlight format, and finals edited as a live playback. Edited from 7 cameras to ensure every angle was covered. Turn around time was 3 days on the edit. First Archived the entire collection of Skateboarder Magazine (1964-1979). Archive available for free, Hi Res, online. That lead to the current rights owners (Transworld Skateboading Magazine) to make a short film.

Assistant camera for a three day shoot ranging from locations around the Salton Sea, Joshua Tree and The Cadiz Dunes. Shooting from sun up to sun down, from nature shots to indigenous tribe ceremonies and interviews. Small crew comprised of myself (AC), the cinematographer and director/producer, so a lot of the behind the scenes work fell on me to ensure a smooth shoot. Working conditions included high heat, dusty air and persistent winds. Responsible for maintaining the camera's readiness at all times. In addition to AC duties, I was also responsible for handling and delivering shot media to editors once wrapped, along with sharing the dailies with the cinematographer and director. Event coverage of the Premiere event that included capturing the atmosphere as well as conducting interviews.

Editing the final piece to deliver to client for the App Jam+, which is a competition involving grade school children to see who can make the 'best app' according to the judges and their peers. The kids get to interact with the other competitors and walk around from group to group and try each others apps before the decision is made.

Manage media cards from a two camera shoot, to two drives while on set (one main drive, one back-up drive). Converted media when needed.

Ensure Operator was able to work efficiently. Loaded in gear, set up camera rigs, tripods, mic'd talent, scouted next location for shots according to the event schedule. Also Shot 2nd camera on sticks during award ceremony. When not shooting, I would be near cinematographer in case there was a lens change needed, battery swap, or any other camera maintenance. Broke down camera packages when finished and loaded gear out.
