Works in close association with the producer to develop different program ideas and concepts Does a fair amount of the relevant research work for the projects by gathering the knowledge and information from the available resources Organize and summarize his work based on the results and get the work done as per the priority Responsible for the arrangement and organization of the crew members and supervision of the production personnel Assists in the financial matters by managing the budgets Actively participates in the creative work by getting involved in the development of stories and suggesting improvements if needed.

Contribute to the film production goals of the organization by editing the director’s vision to marketable length while sustaining an engaging narrative. Meet with director / producers to receive scripts and ascertain goals, develop an editing plan, analyze and select best footage alongside the director, and cobble footage into a rough cut for screening. Visit sets during shoots to incorporate the director’s rhythm into the screening, adding music and sound effects into the release copy. Efficiently manage and coordinate the post-production process from concept through completion
