- Discuss location needs of production with directors, producers, and other dept heads - Research potential locations with production-specific needs in mind - Present potential options to production with relevant details including pricing, design, power output, - HMU stations, restrooms, etc - Schedule scouts with venues for client - Photograph, video, and in some cases, virtually map out locations using a 360-camera - Secure permission to film on location with the correct paperwork

- Work with all departments to draw out an accurate site plan - Gather and submit all necessary permits to city and fire department - Monitor all aspects of on-site location planning and schematics from load-in to load-out - Map and measure out all large site drops such as generators, talent trailers, HVAC, restrooms, etc - Negotiate with parking venues, power suppliers, restroom providers, etc - Coordinate daily drop & delivery schedules with department heads - Manage trucking delivery flow with location truck marshals - Run point on all walk-throughs with the fire department, health and safety, and law enforcement - Relay all necessary adjustments that are needed to production - Assist all departments with on-site needs - In some instances, coordinate parking with production
