Redesigning multimedia workflows from pre-production, through production, to delivery and archiving. Selecting and working with vendors and in house IT to design a robust, 192 TB media storage system on a 10 GbE network, plus an offsite, 192 TB back up system for disaster recovery and archiving. Creating a robust folder structure, standardizing media ingest practices, formats, and best practices from start to finish. Creating training materials for staff training, and leading on-going team training for staff. Screening and selecting vendors to provide secure review platform that reduces confusion between clients and creatives. Auditing legacy media archives, cleaning up rampant duplicate files and migrating the media to the new shared storage. Consulting with team members and being responsive to their feedback to assure team buy-in of new media workflow.

Director of the for-profit creative media services division of a public access TV station. My role was conceptualizing and executing the creation of videos for clients ranging from universities to non-profits and municipal government agencies. I was responsible for client relations and end to end workflow design of the production pipeline. I also taught people how to use video cameras, lights and editing software, including FCPX, Adobe Premiere and After Effects to create their own shows.
