Assist Producers for the morning news Edit and post stories for the reporters and producers online

• Answers telephone and screens, logs, and places calls • Researched, wrote, reported, and tracked stories (including on- camera stand-ups) • Covered all sides of every issue and provided context whenever possible • Provide production assistance every Tuesday and reported one full-time day per week

• Copy and scan documents for daily materials • Coordinate with Production Manager with distribution, archiving, and scheduling • Assisted in the Art Department • Provide post-production assistance as a set dresser

•Research/gather resources for news segments/ guest booking • Learn newsgathering equipment and systems (script writing, graphics) • Presentation of segments from booking to pre-production to segment execution • Copy, scan, save, and distribute extensive amounts of documents • Screen all incoming telephone calls, take detailed messages, and transfer calls
