Organization of twenty + years worth of footage for a historical documentary on the life of Dorothea Lange. The final film, Grab A Hunk Of Lightning, was produced for American Masters and broadcast on PBS. It is currently making the rounds on the festival circuit.

In every project that I worked on I was called upon to find the story within the footage provided. In some instances, this story was not the story originally intended by the director/producer, but because of my abilities to find A story within the footage, a documentary would emerge. I was lucky to have a chance to work with directors and producers who were willing to see that while their original intent may not have made it onto the footage, there was a compelling to story to tell, nonetheless. I credit them, as well as my own skills as a story teller/finder for the success that we were able to accomplish in these endeavors.

Editing five short films from footage shot of a site specific art installation/performance at the Pulitzer Foundation Art Center in St. Louis, MO. Footage consisted of live performance and interviews. I worked with the director to create the story for each of the five films as well as overseeing the final output and delivery of the finished product.
