In addition to logging, organizing, and exporting, this film had a long, complex post involving an unusually large number of VFX shots. Required working with multiple VFX houses over several time zones. Last minute changes to accommodate updated VFX shots, required fast turn around of reels multiple times.

Constructed VFX tracking database and Continuity/ADR database in Filemaker Pro. Organized media on Unity when on set and ISIS in office for editing on Avid 6.5. Light VFX and sound design work used in final production. Output, transcode and delivered reels for online process.

Ingest, catalog, transcode and organize dailies for Editor. An assembly cut was also maintained to aid the production in assuring all material was being captured. Ingest was performed with DaVinci, organizing and string outs were performed with Final Cut Pro 7.

Organized and maintained on Unity and edited on Avid Media Composer 5. Light VFX work that was used in final production. Output, transcode and delivered reels for online process. Custom grouping process designed to assign character specific colors to each audio track.

Stepped in to finish film for the first assistant editor. Oversaw prep and export for online, final mix and coordinated final deliveries.

Maintain organization for various commercial products, transcode Canon, RED, P2, FlipCam, etc., and pull selects on projects requiring quick turn-around. Prep and export media for delivery to clients with precise specs.

Transcode, organize, offline/online RED Mysterium X footage for feature length film using REDRocket and G-Tech RAID on ad-hoc, two person network. Output, transcode and delivered reels for online process.

Convert Adobe Premiere project to Final Cut and coordinate deliverables with color and sound. Transcoded video from DVCPro to ProRes 4444 for easier use in FCP.

Ingest RED footage, sync, group and organize footage for use in Final Cut Pro. String-outs and assembly cut performed to help editor jump-start scenes for a very fast turn-around.
