Edited BET News Briefs for the weeks of July 17 and July 24, 2020. These minute-long packages aired during the act breaks of BET's otherwise regularly-schedule programming. Their aim was to provide coverage of the Democratic National Convention, the Republican National Convention, and the protests in Kenosha, WI surrounding the shooting of Jacob Blake.

Edited "Black America Votes: The Kamala Harris VP Choice," a townhall-style news special about Joe Biden's selection of Kamala Harris, the first WOC on a major party's presidential ticket.

• Edited "American Injustice: The Fight for Police Reform," a townhall-style, hour-long discussion about the status of police reform in the wake of the murder of George Floyd. Hosted by Soledad O'Brien.

• Edited "John Lewis: In His Own Words," a half-hour tribute to the late congressman and civil rights activist edited from archival content and interview footage.

• Edited BET News Briefs for the week of June 8, 2020. These minute-long packages aired during the act breaks of BET's otherwise regularly-schedule programming. Their aim was to provide coverage of the Black Lives Matter protests following the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

• Edited "Locked & Lit: Countdown to the BET Awards 2020," the countdown-style preshow preceding the 2020 BET Awards. As a part of a three-editor team, worked on the 100% remotely-produced, hour-long show that featured interview & music video packages as well as branded content.

• Edited & maintained archival workflows for as-of-yet untitled, six-part documentary series for the ACC Network about the history of the ACC basketball tournament. • Project on hiatus due toe Covid-19 Pandemic.

Responsibilities included transcribing and logging OTFs, interviews, rough cuts, picture locks, making runs for nearby equipment rentals and returns in NYC, loading tapes, labeling tapes and boxes, maintaining organization of DVCPRO HD tapes, and preparing deliverables such as releases, comprehensive report, storygrids, etc.

AE Responsibilities included creating stringouts and cut downs, pulling selects for producers and editors, synching, grouping, and organizing incoming footage from the field, organizing OTF workflow (creating & delivering OTF scripts to field). Extensive experience with Final Cut Pro 7.

Hired as an intern in summer 2011, subsequently hired as a set PA. Included experience with setting up lights, lav mics, boom mics, tripods, etc, basic training on Avid Media Composer, and extensive experience loading/unloading film equipment.
