○ Operationally focused, I partner with the legal and production leads on a high-volume creatively driven marketing team, and am responsible for the execution, and organization of all business affairs functions, including media licensing, negotiations, research, rights and clearances, and adjacent production functions, including reviewing vendor agreements and purchase order creation. ○ Guide production leads to ensure all creative rights issues are identified (vetting), tracked via screening notes and resolved. Participate in key research and drive clearances for hard to find content. ○ Successfully implemented and now maintain a highly organized document management system, project status documents and production rights chart cataloguing pertinent rights information on all current and prior productions. ○ Screen episodes to confirm compliance of appearance and location releases as well as all licensed 3rd party elements including music, photos. logos and video clips. Draft talent and location. shopping, and trade out agreements. Review, redline and redraft all 3rd party licenses and agreements. Research rights issues for legal and production teams.. Perform legal research for Senior V.P. of Legal Affairs. Negotiate and clear music, clips and photos on an as needed basis. Create and maintain a rights chart for all programs produced by the company. Create and maintain tracking reports for agreements, Track options and salaries of all talent appearing in all productions. Review clearance binders, cue sheets and all releases. Submit cue sheets using RapidCue. Provide international partners with support documents for programming including cue sheets, promotional materials, etc. Provide licensing support to production companies.
