Scouting Locations and Managing 2 very large locations. A downtown Atlanta high rise office building and an airport featuring 3 separate set ups involving major SPFX and aircrafts

Scout, permit and manage 1 location for a night shoot that utilized snow fx, fire and low light

Working with the City of Cleveland, the FAA, MLB and a host of other agencies to ensure that we are properly permitted, and in compliance to film, utilizing helicopters and drones.

Scouting locations and creating tight clusters of locations in the Metro Atlanta area, enabling the production to get the look that they desire in the short amount of time that they have to film.

I scouted, negotiated, secured and managed the locations for this tv pilot. This is a 3 short montage sequence featuring 20, or so locations filmed over 2 days. My challenge was to strategically scout physical locations that could act as more than one filmed location so as to not loose daylight involving multiple pushes. We were able to achieve 14 filmed locations in 2 physical locations in Conyers, GA on Day 1. Day 2 was all about East Point, GA where I found a few very visually impactful locations. We killed it! On this job, I was a one man band. There were no other members of the Locations Department. I was Scout, The LM, the Key, Assistant Mgr, Coordinator, Loc. Assist and the PA.

As one of 4 original Atlanta crew members, I came in and Scouted 90% of the locations that have been used in the film. Secured base camps, crew parking lots, handled permitting the streets, and obtaining the necessary film permits. Negotiating location agreements, managing a crew of 10, coordinating departments and contractors during prep, filming and wrap.

Well,...you know, more Locations responsibilities! Making sure people who make movies can make movies! ;-)

Smoothing out the rough spots, negotiating contracts, scheduling contractors, maintaining locations, etc, etc.

Let's just say...I did the same thing that I did in Season 1. (see below). ;-)

Managed Production Assistant staff, provided Crafty, facilitated airport, supply and lunch runs, applied old age make up to talent, set dec, props and art department responsibilities were also part of my job on this shoot.

Production runs in and around Durango, CO

Brainstormed creative aspects. Booked contractors. Ordered staging, lighting, teleprompter & operator, carnival games, floor protection, and branded signage. Orchestrated set up of event. Coordinated staff from It's Your Party, Event Net USA, Young & Rubicam, The White House and the Secret Service. Troubleshooting on the day.

Shopped for, displayed and restocked specific rider items in the dressing rooms of Fleetwood Mac, One Direction, Harry Connick Jr., Heart, among others.

Worked closely with all departments to ensure a smooth transition from one location to another. Negotiated homeowner contracts. Introduced the filming process to the neighbors.On set troubleshooting any issues that may arise such as barking dogs,towing cars,and protecting locations from damages.

Airport and lunch runs. Set up BBQ stations on the Dothan, AL set. Maintained the set by seeing a job that needed doing and doing it, i.e. emptying the trash, restocking crafty, and providing guest judges with cold water on the set.

Coordinated contract workers & services with various departments. Processed federal tax papers and check requests.Tasks ranged from trash collection to resident tours and securing Green Rooms for talent,conflict resolution and troubleshooting.

Runner duties included driving large trucks with manual transmissions to and from the set & shopping runs. On set duties included securing lock-ups, maintaining cleanliness of the set & base camp, restocking crafty and assisting the art department with set and prop production.

Organized a crew of 10 P.A.’s and 5 vehicles Scheduled pick up and drop off times for artists. Escorted artists, provided their rider supplies and attended to their immediate needs. Ran errands & balancing daily float against receipts.

Crowd management, including line prioritizing, making announcements and escorting & moving hundreds of talented hopefuls through the audition site. Running errands & balancing daily float against receipts.
