Jason Walton

I originally started as a volunteer shooting some behind the scenes pictures and video. I was later promoted to being a Production Assistant and doing BTS.

I was the Director of Photography and worked with underwater housings for the RED Scarlet and the Canon 5D Mark II where we filmed both above and below the water. Along with this, I operated the cameras and lit the film according to the emotional feeling of each scene.

Responsible for setting up, operation, and tearing down the Fisher 10 Dolly and Jib.

Responsible for assisting the cast and crew in any way possible. Helped move equipment, managing extras, and locking down set. Assisted the Art Department in dressing sets, running errands, and moving props.

Followed creative direction of the director, executed specific shots, assisted with setup and strike.

On this film, I operated the RED Scarlet camera and followed the direction of the Director of Photography, while working closely with the 1st and 2nd AC's. I also spent over 72 hours on set.

Edited footage into a 13 minute documentary for a Non For Profit organization.

Wrote the script, directed actors, and acted in this suspenseful short film.

I directed, camera operated, and edited the SONS Keep Quiet CD Release show in Marion, IN.
