In a relatively short amount of time, I have worked in nearly every genre and on every type of media project; including feature films, TV shows, commercials, short films, corporate videos, music videos, reality TV, web series and TV pilots. I am a Real AD

9/14 – Current

First Assistant Director RENE

Film (Theatrical) — Big Monster Details
9/14 – Current

Refined schedule, made pre-lim call sheets and ran the show on the first part of the feature (we will finish shooting the film in March, 2015) that included child actors, live deer, multiple prop weapons and extensive blood and bullet effects and prosthetics.

10/14 – 10/14

First Assistant Director Frank is a Bowler

Film (Short) — Greencard Pictures Details
10/14 – 10/14

Broke down the script, formulated the Schedule, ran the show and wrapped in three days with no overtime. Show included three complex crane shots, extensive steadicam work, working with two minors and making a fun, subversive comedy.

9/14 – 9/14

First Assistant Director – Nissan Rogue

Commercial/Ad — Amusa Films Details
9/14 – 9/14

Created schedule & ran the set for a car commercial/viral video campaign for Nissan with celebrity chef Eddie Huang, which involved Eddie changing wardrobe over 20 times and extensive greenscreen shots all while shooting in the iconic Cortlandt Alley in Chinatown in Manhattan.

5/14 – 9/14

First Assistant Director Redrum 3

INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY — Scripted (TV) — Stephen David Entertainment Details
5/14 – 9/14

We would shoot an episode a week with only one AD unit. I would be breaking down a script, tech scout, tighten schedule, contact actors & crew all in two days, then run the show as we shot the next three days.

2/14 – 3/14

First Assistant Director H.

Film (Theatrical) — Nice Dissolve Details
2/14 – 3/14

Broke the script down, created the schedule, shot on location in Troy, NY, with a 13 person crew based off a script that won a grant from the Venice Film Festival. Despite the low budget, we filmed extensive VFX, SPFX HMU, horses and with street lockups in eclectic open/functional locations.

4/12 – 7/12

First Assistant Director (Shot on Location in Louisville, KY) Admit One

Film (Theatrical) Details
4/12 – 7/12

Broke the script down, made the schedule - which required 6 straight exterior days in the summer sun, followed by one split and eleven straight overnights at a functional Dollar Theater- ran the set, including coordinating complex background movement and wrapped a day early- which saved the production several thousand dollars

9/11 – 1/12

First Assistant Director (credited as an AP on all legal paperwork ) American Gypsies 1

NATGEO — Reality/Doc (TV) — Stick Figure Productions Details
9/11 – 1/12

Coordinated schedule and transpo while running and gunning all over NYC with a minimum of two cameras always rolling. We filmed with true to life Gypsies so there were often issues with the talent that required the crew to think quickly and react to spontaneous and occasionally dangerous filming situations.

2/11 – 10/11

Production Manager Homecoming

Film (Short) Details
2/11 – 10/11

Insured the shoot ran smoothly, including making various trips, coordinating meals, equipment rentals & pickups, and was 1st AD on the 35mm reshoots on location in Massachusetts & Connecticut. I also shot the Indiegogo video with the Director and made the page that was used to secure additional funding for the film.
