Responsible for producing 3-minute weekly video segments that are shown to 5,000 people explaining how they can get connected. Includes setting up lights, cameras, mics, and location (sometimes utilizing a green screen); coaching the talent; and post-production editing, motion graphics, color-correcting, export and compression. Produced nine videos in four weeks for Christmas and December final giving campaign. Gained wide experience creating a variety of videos including story-telling interviews, a “Kids Say the Darndest Things” video, lyric support videos, and fundraising event videos.

Using Click Effects, was sound technician for TV broadcast games, and for multiple special event baseball games. Graphics operator on the Venus system to run LED graphics on Daktronics walls and fascias during games. Was instant replay worker for games, worked the TV broadcast camera for television games, and worked the roaming “fan” camera for games.

Staff Position — Springfield City School District Details
1/13 – 8/14

Shot and edited numerous small news packages for the school district Web site and Facebook page. Helped co-produce the new Springfield City School District recruitment video. Created the new district promotional handout to be used by the Springfield City Chamber of Commerce.

Production Assistant

Staff Position — Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball Details
3/12 – 1/14

Produced the broadcast TV introduction, as well as player interviews shot before each game. Created still team headshots for home and away teams, and lit and shot the animated player head shots in front of a blue screen. Lit the sets and shot the Community All-Star and Hometown Hero interviews to be shown on the video board. Shot in-school b-roll, special events, and interview footage to be used for the Dragons MVP television commercials.
