-Ingest/transcode XDCAM and tapeless media -Script Sync

-Maintain and organize the physical tape library as well as the data base (FileMakerPro) -Create Music Cue sheets to be sent to the network -Create lists for the graphics to be used in the episode for the Online Editors -Coordinate with Story Producers to approve locked episodes for graphics -Watch episodes to assist with quality control -Process, touch up, and blur stills for broadcast use -Distribute FTP links when requested -Create proxies from the clips shot on location to give to the transcription team -Transcribe clips of interviews ranging from 5 to 90 minutes long -Create inventory lists of all post production assets -Go on runs to the other office building and distribute interoffice mail and other items. -Box up and drop off tapes of delivered episodes to a storage facility -Pull tapes or B-roll from the extensive in house tape library for use by the Assistant Editors or Producers -Prep Online and Offline edit bays with materials needed to for the next days work -Accomplish any other task requested by the Post Production team
