-Interfaces with freelance and company creatives, production and post teams serving as Archival -Has knowledge of all the archive in the Chippendale 4 part project. -Responsible for making sure research is delivered on time and that all third party material has been properly licensed or approved by legal counsel as fair use. -At the time of picture lock, responsible for tracking that each asset has been paid for and their respective masters have been received and incorporated into the cut. -Licensing -Maintains master licensor grid for each project -Reviews/sends order forms for final orders -Coordinates legal redlines with third party vendors/contributors and legal counsel -Fair Use/Clearance -Sends cue sheets with each applicable cut for fair use legal review -Coordinates with edit team and creatives to track that fair use/legal notes are being addressed -Cue sheets -Reviews cue sheets before vendor tallies are started -Builds cost estimates when needed -Calculates vendor tallies when needed -Regularly updates company and producers with cost estimates for each applicable cut -Conducts footage research
