Responsible for creating story arcs by overseeing string-outs, researching culture and television programming from different countries, helping write v.o. script, getting stock footage and helping track down footage from featured foreign shows for licensing.

Assisted story producers and editors with story and character arc development by stringing out sequences and pulling bites for multiple episodes.

Assisted Supervising Producer with story structure by creating string outs for a documentary about meditation and spiritual experiences featuring Deepak Chopra, David Lynch, and Michelle Rodriguez.

Put together episode story arcs, strung-out sequences, and wrote episode outlines. Developed character story arcs that carried throughout 8 episodes. Strung out multiple scenes on a daily basis, pulled and organized bites for story producers, managed to feed multiple editing bays. Acted as field and post liaison and researcher.

Provided story editorial assistance to lead editor during the editing process of a five minute documentary for the USAID organization. Translated Spanish footage to English by creating subtitles/lower thirds, created string-outs and gave creative feedback. Also participated in all editorial conferences between executive producers and editor as required.

Created Field Notes/Hot Sheets for producers and editors. Assisted field producers with day to day production needs (e.g., location scouting, getting releases from talent, creating and scheduling interviews). Assisted post editors and story producers by creating string outs, searching for bites and developing story lines.
