I was responsible for setting up and tearing down equipment, and pulling focus for the camera operator.

Aside from operating a jib and slider as a camera operator, I helped with the setup and tear down of lighting and grip equipment, as well as monitored sound as a sound mixer. I was also responsible for filling out paper work during interviews.

Assisted in the setup and tear down for the live production.

I recorded the duration of each shot and documented it with a full description, as well as which lens we were using, the focal length and distance of each shot, which film roll we were on, the shoot date, call times etc. I fulfilled all requirements of a script supervisor.

I came up with the idea for the segment and the interview questions. I found an organization that was willing to have a special interest piece done on them and took my crew out to their selected location to film and interview.

I was responsible for loading the HD video tapes into the VTR machine and playing the appropriate pieces when notified by my director.

I took measurements for my camera operator and pulled focus when necessary.

On this commercial production I was and PA and fulfilled all the PA requirements and duties that were expected of me.

I came up with the idea for the documentary and wrote up the majority of the interview questions. I also selected the interviewees and helped my editor put the film together in a cohesive manner.

I helped edit the script and add material so it fit the page length that we needed. Also, I took measurements for focus and pulled focus for the camera operator.

I wrote the script and coordinated with my Director of Photography on which shots we wanted to take and how our actors would compose themselves for each shot.

I shot a short film using only natural light, an analog light meter and a 16mm Bolex Reflex film camera, and then edited it on a Steinbeck Flatbed editing machine. I worked with only my actors, my camera, and natural sun light.

Rolling follows the simple narrative of the process of rolling a cigarette. I only had natural light to work with. I planned out each camera position and subject action accordingly. Using an analog light meter and appropriate aperture setting and lens focus each shot came out at the same exposure.
