Developed and produced segments for this reality series about truck drivers. Created and developed beat-sheets with showrunner and executed them in the field. Did extensive traveling throughout the continental USA. Managed & directed crew and sometimes difficult/ challenging talent. Supervised office AP’s for research and development of segments. Worked closely with post-story producers and consulted with editors on individually produced segments in post.

I was responsible for creatively developing the story/ transport from the point inception and through production. Pre-production included writing beat sheets, coordinating gear, pre-interviews and some logistical coordination. In the field responsibilities included directing, coordinating crew, scheduling, managing talent, on the road logistics and problem solving.

Coordinated pre-production aspects for this special one hour episode being shot abroad. Worked closely with a fixer to organize logistic related to creative from locations to casting. Developed shooting scripts/ beat sheets with the executive and supervising producer.

Managed producers, crew and talent in the development and execution of production for all creative and scheduling. Developed shooting scripts/ beat sheets with the series producer and production team. Directed talent and crew in comedic/ dramatic scenes and interviews. Was responsible for staffing production team.

Supervised field producers in regards to scripts, scheduling and general creative concerns. Traveled extensively around the US producing and directing with a DP. Shot 2nd camera with a Sony EX-3 and was responsible for rigging go-pros and media management. Was the liaison to hotels and businesses covered during the shoot.

Aided in the production of a test segment to help take the show go to series. Helped coordinate staff, crew and equipment. Was responsible for conducting interviews and shot extensively with a Sony EX-3.

Producer (field)- Wrote and developed shooting script/ beat sheets with the supervising producer and associate producer. Coordinated talent, crew, locations and props for segments. Composed and conducted interviews for all segments produced. Directed talent in both comedic and dramatic scenes. Scheduled shoot days.

Produced four identical test segments in one day with potential host at a DIY facility in San Francisco. Responsibilities included directing scenes and interviews while delivering quality segments under heavy time constraints.

This was a sketch pilot that Louis CK did for HBO that never went to series. The sketch that I produced was an airline safety video parody that we shot in a airplane fuselage on a sound stage.

This project involved following two motorcycle builders and they built their bikes, went on 500 mile trip and ended at a biking event where patrons voted on the best bike. My job included scouting, dealing with talent, shooting second camera and setting up a helicopter shooting by coordinating with local authorities.
