Nick Lane

I was an office PA working directly with UPM Barbara Hall. Duties included coordinating set PAs, responding to Barbara's emails and calls, and making runs for office and set.

Assisting "24" creator Joel Surnow on his "Night and Day" pilot, I inserted changes to the script based on his and network notes, adding asterisks where need be. I handled his personal communication during the shoot, via phone and email, acting as a liaison between Joel, TNT and the production crew.

For two years I was the researcher/assistant to Marc Rocco (writer of "The Jacket," director of "Murder in the First"). Marc's scripts required considerable research, to which I found myself to be quite adept. The position also entailed typical assistant duties of handling communication and managing the office.

I was the office production assistant working directly with UPM Michelle Lankwarden. My duties included running office communication during the shoot, acting as a liaison between Michelle and the production crew. I was responsible for creating call sheets, sides, etc.

I was the office assistant for Eddie Vedder's "Guaranteed" video, a song for the film "Into the Wild." I was responsible for making accommodations/satisfying requests for Mr. Vedder, as well as assisting UPM Michelle Lankwarden. I was later hired as the assistant to the video's director, Marc Rocco.
