Dante Rouser

As the Assistant Director of the shoot I provided crucial feedback on set as well as suggestions to improve the outcome and overall efficiency. I also provided direction for the Director of Photography and Set Designers.

As DP I saw that the directors vision was realized visually accurately and efficiently. I led the build up of the set and the placing of the lights. I doubled as camera operator. I also assisted the editor with color corrections.

A one-man army for this shoot. I handled everything from writing to directing to set design and camera operation. I worked closely with the artist to bring his song to life. I dedicated extra time in After Effects creating the doppleganger effect that is the center piece of the video.

This job was handled by me from top to bottom. I acted as Director, Cinematographer, and Editor. I worked closely with the project manager to keep everything on track and within the budget.

I worked closely with the artist to translate his vision for his brand into a visual and accessible format. I filmed several of his performances with a two man crew and co-ordinated with the venues to make everything run smooth. I also conducted several interviews with the artist personally.

This was a one man show. I handled all aspects of pre- and post-production from location scouting, camera operation, to directing. I worked with Jesse to translate his music to imagery. I also worked extensively in After Effects to create the vintage look of the video.
