As an associate producer at Slooh, I was responsible for many aspects of our web video content. I reached out to prospective guests and feed partners for live webcasts about space and astronomy. During these webcasts, I would act as technical director – selecting shots and graphics, adjusting audio levels, running breaks for promos, giving time cues to hosts, monitoring our live feeds and chatrooms, and much more. Following the webcasts, I would select highlights from the show and then cut these segments down into more digestible clips, clean up the audio and video, and upload the completed projects to our websites. I was also in charge of shooting and editing promotional videos for the website and teases for upcoming shows. Achievements include coordinating a live webcast from Indonesia of a total solar eclipse, which reached a viewship of over 700,000 people. I also coordinated feed partners and acted as a technical director for a unique “mega harvest moon eclipse” show which had an audience of over three million people.
