Upon joining the company during its startup phase in 2014, I was tasked to build a post-production department essentially from scratch. While devising and perfecting an efficient workflow, I grew a five-person department to over fifteen in just under two years, producing content for all platforms including social media and traditional TV. In addition to recruiting and managing a team of editors, motion graphics artists, assistant editors, and interns, I was in charge of acquiring and installing over $100,000 of equipment and maintaining relations with various post-related vendors. My day-to-day responsibilities included interfacing with producers, managing the programming calendar, assigning projects to editors, drafting and holding editors to a schedule, and providing general logistical support and creative guidance in the completion of all our content. In total, I supervised over a thousand videos for our MCN (uploading no less than two videos per day), several thousand clips for our social media, countless materials for various branding campaigns, three standup comedy specials for Seeso, one award show for Fusion TV, and most recently, a feature film for Facebook and iTunes. Additionally, I developed and directed the first season of our political commentary series titled FIRING SQUADD and, more recently, participated in our Green Light Committee where I provided constructive feedback on prospective scripted projects.
