Responsibilities included; developing and producing shows from pre-production through post-production to ensuring accurate completion of all program details. Including, pitch writing, booking guests, developing show concepts, pre-interviewing of celebrity guests, writing and editing scripts and prepping the host for live tapings. Also, co-wrote and co-produced, during the taping, the host’s signature closing monologue for more than 300 episodes (“Mo’Nique’s Moment”).

Developed the nationally syndicated radio show, “The Monique Show”, with actress comedienne Mo’Nique. Responsibilities included hiring support staff, scheduling of music for the show. Produced daily show and reviewed with talent, directed talent during the show. Wrote, during the taping, daily “moment” that was the sign off Mo’Nique read at the end of the show. Show was heard in 7 cities nationally. Improved ratings in each of the seven markets the show was heard. Show reached #1 rank in two of the seven cities by the time the show ended in March of 2009. Reported directly to the president of Radio One.
