I assisted Douglas Trumbull shooting tests and elements for visual effects. I also assisted him research and develop different types of camera and and projection systems for his high frame rate stereo 3D Magi pod theater, as well as traditional Cinema and Virtual Production.

ost importantly, Sam was always the designated Director of Photography. Using the numerous ARRI lights and stands housed at Trumbull Studios, Sam consistently turned Trumbull's scene or shot ideas into reality.
Not only is Sam very knowledgeable and talented, but he is also a pleasure to work with. Although Sam lived over an hour away from Trumbull Studios, he was always on time and often stayed longer than necessary to continue working. No matter the companies or people we talked to, Sam was never afraid to bring his thought-provoking and engaging ideas to the table. With any given job Sam will give it his all while also offering his exceptional skill as a filmmaker.
