As part of only a 5-person G&E department, contributed equally to the creative and physical process of lighting for the entirety of this horror-comedy. During on-set down time, volunteered with the production department to help design props and set decoration.

Collected a full day's worth of B-roll footage,creatively documenting the demonstrations, vendors, activities and participants of this annual health and wellness event. Edited footage along with interviews into a recap displayed on the Philadelphia Magazine website.

Supported Director of Photography Spencer Burnham in operation and maintenance of the Arriflex SRII 16mm camera. Loaded all film reels, cleaned lenses and camera, collected and recorded shot information, and provided aid and suggestions for general lighting decisions.

Assisted in pre-production location scouting and scheduling, working closely with the director, Sam Barth. Facilitated timely execution of the production schedule, despite the need for frequent, unforeseen reorganizations of shot arrangement.

Conceptualized, organized and then directed the production of my senior thesis short film on 16mm color negative film. Manipulated 16mm work prints on Steenbeck editing decks to create the final edit of the film. Collaborated closely with composer to create an entirely original soundtrack.

Completed varying miscellaneous tasks to streamline the filmmaking process of one of Hungry Man’s largest commercial productions of the year. Functioned as part of the crafty crew, completed tasks for the Assistant Director and gained significant knowledge of the internal working of a major production such as this.
