•As a part of a “highly competitive program for students who have a passion for film, storytelling, social justice, and African Diaspora culture,” founded by Nate Parker and his foundation. With just 1 day of pre-production, two days of shooting, and 1 day of post-production I aided in bringing the student film, “#” (hash tag), to fruition as the Unit Production Manager and to some degree as the Creative Producer. Duties included: •Creating shoot schedules and call lists for directors, cinematographers, and crew •Handling all necessary paperwork (e.g. Photo/Video Releases, Safety Inspection forms and the like) •Meet with screenwriters in pre-production period to improve the script •Meeting with Directors/Cinematographers/Editors to put the finishing touches on the film •General administrative duties
Summary
Arielle is a recent graduate of Williams College with a degree in English Literature, but has a passion for film. She has produced one short film with the 2016 class of the Nate Parker Film Institute, and is eager to continue working in film.
