Veronica Sisson

I was responsible for preparing two full-length, independent film projects to be edited by prepping the raw media, transcoding, multi grouping, and other technical responsibilities related to footage prep. The footage was to be edited by students taking an editing course so I also functioned as a teachers assistant, answering questions, supporting the teacher, sending logistical emails, and maintaining google documents. Additionally, I helped to create clips and content to be used on a social media project for the company.

I helped two documentary filmmakers with a project to capture and organize a large amount of archival footage from their past work of the last 30 years. I also helped with organizational tasks related to the media and I did research for future projects they were in the early stages of creating.

I edited several scenes for a full-length, independent romantic-comedy film called, "I'm A Terrible Mother" directed by Kestrin Panterra using Avid software. I worked frequently with the director to help achieve her vision and learned to work through many technical obstacles related to sound and visuals.

I edited several scenes for an upcoming full-length documentary feature, "Jelloman if u Will" which features some well known musicians such as Kurt Vile, MGMT, Angel Olsen, and Cage the Elephant.
