Looking for a remote Archival Producer for archive-heavy, hip-hop docu-series on hip hop for Hulu.
Experience must include:
- Hip-hop archival research
- Clearances, including fair use, licensing agreements and tracking releases
- Communication with legal counsel
- Working on a network series post schedule
- Logging and data organization using Google Sheets and Excel. Filemaker, Airtable or other DB management software a plus.

Tech:
The Archival Producer is a freelance position and thus you will provide your own computer, phone and internet connection. Internet tech literacy is a must, especially with respect to online research and sourcing digital imagery.
The Archival Producer will be responsible for all aspects of archival research, rights and clearances, including logging, pulls, budgeting, mastering, working with counsel to negotiate license agreements and preparing network deliverables. This job will involve a lot of coordination with the music supervisor, as some of the content will be sourced from record labels.
