The Position

*** is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative conceptual design leader to oversee visual storytelling, art and design creative across the Brand and Partnerships teams. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the next phase of the *** Brand and create a brand belief system that will shape decisions across the company and build long-lasting emotional connections with consumers.

As the Art Director, you will be responsible for collaborating with a team of designers (both internally + externally) and partner with freelance ADs to develop and execute on the master brand positioning and strategy. You'll give the conceptual brand work visual life and ensure all shipped work is on-brief, on-brand and on-time.

You'll not only lead the art direction of 360, brand-centric campaigns that will drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention across all the channels but create and foster genuine brand love for *** .

This role will partner closely with its Brand Creative, Brand Marketing and Partnerships counterparts to maximize the impact of marketing opportunities through breakthrough, brand-defining creative. The team will also work with a growing list of best-in-class external brand partners to create the most impactful, compelling and talked about collaborations and activations in entertainment that will allow *** to unlock new channels and engage with new audiences.

You'll bring a deep experience in design and art direction principles, a compelling point-of-view and perspective on what makes truly great work and have a natural talent of attracting creative talent and building world-class teams across a variety of design disciplines. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience designing for in-house or studio/agency partner teams; link to online portfolio of work that showcases your unbridled design passion required
• A deep design background, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in concept and entertainment design, typography, layout, form, motion design and composition
• Experience collaborating with and designing for creative marketing campaigns with best-in-class Brand partners. You've designed for screens, live events, social, merch and multi *** spaces.
• A proven history of designing breakthrough 360 campaigns across all platforms and inspiring work for a challenger brand in order to differentiate in a crowded marketplace.
• Direct experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional partners ( *** , marketing, creative ops), internal creatives (CDs, writers, producers) and external agency partners. You understand how to design for two distinct brand identities in a unified way ( *** + External Partner)

"What would you say you do here?"

• Collaborate with the Supervising Producer and Directors to discuss creative ambitions and producibility for each episode
  
• Develop and communicate a clear design vision (including Characters, Locations, Props, Backgrounds, FX, Lighting, and Color) that will support the overall creative vision for the story and style of the project

Concept + Design Studio is the full-ser *** in-house partner for all things creative within Marketing's Global Brand & Creative, DTC, at *** Discovery. Our work spans five teams and encompasses brand identity, campaigns, toolkits, key art, OOH, motion graphics, and print and digital design. Together, we create and translate the brand for any medium to best serve our stories.

We are seeking a talented Art Director who is passionate about design with a focus digital platform creative design. As part of the Content Creative, the AD will be immersed in an engaging, fast-paced environment with opportunities to create original and innovative designs that stay true to our shows. The AD must have strong communication skills, managerial skills, attend business partner meetings, and collaborate within the team and across departments. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience managing a small team of more than one designer varying team (local and remote)
• Hands-on leader, creating various layouts and comps to final key art (digital)

The Job:

The CW Television Network is seeking a hands-on Art Director (Sports & Entertainment Motion Design), to join the Brand Creative team. This role will be responsible for the execution of creative from concept boards to final animation. ABOUT THE ROLE

You will assist the Editor-in-Chief in implementing the creative visions for the brand, and to help maintain/develop them across all platforms. You will also be responsible for working on design and visuals across all products- print, digital, events, marketing materials and commercial projects.

Key duties:

• Oversee, and be the main point of contact for, all visuals across the entire Cosmopolitan brand, across all platforms.
• Concept and mood board all in-house cover shoots within budget, pitching fully fleshed-out briefs to the Editor-in-Chief, along with styling ideas from Fashion, location ideas, photographer ideas, prop requirements, etc. Run these shoots with support from the Picture desk, taking ultimate responsibility for the output and execution on the day.
• Design all magazine covers and supplementary assets, ensuring everything is on-brand, eye-catching and optimised to drive sales at the newsstand.
• Run print Art meetings, from ideation meetings with the wider Art and Picture teams, to pitch meetings with the wider Cosmopolitan editorial team to approve concepts. Ensure this process runs to schedule in accordance with our publication deadlines.
• Be a creative ideas machine, leading from the front in generating cool, modern, on-brand ideas for visuals and layouts that the Cosmopolitan audience will love.
• Design layouts across the magazine, from 8-page long-read investigations with original art, to templated regular pages.
• Work closely with the Production and Subs Hub to ensure a seamless process that works to deadline, runs efficiently and minimises hiccups - from early-stage planning, right through to finaling pages and helping send the magazine to press.
• Build and maintain a brand style guide that can be used across the brand and wider business, directing in fonts, colour palettes, visual identity, etc.
• Design, as required, for digital platforms, working closely with the Site Director and Heads of Departments, to prioritise work accordingly.
• Build a bursting contacts book of artists, illustrators, photographers and freelancers, building relationships along the way.
• Provide constructive feedback to the Senior Art Editor on all the junior heads on the Art Desk, ensuring their work is on-brand, and development opportunities are maximised.
• Liaise and collaborate with other internal departments ranging from licensing and accreditation to commercial and events, apps and newsletters, to ensure all brand materials are visually aligned.

Job Summary:

Being part of a multi-faceted and phenomenal team, you will be playing a vital role to lead and direct efforts for story development, to conceive, develop and define all creative aspects of the *** Imagineering Hong Kong team on assigned projects and venue at Hong Kong *** land. You will also be closely liaising, aligning and partnering with various lines of business across Hong Kong *** land Resort to ensure the balance of maintaining *** 's high standard of show quality/story telling consistencies along with the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Provides day-to-day creative direction to design disciplines - show design, color design, graphics, lighting, interior design, show writing, character finishing, character concrete, props, animation, audio and a/v, special effects, water effects, visual effects, architectural, horticulture, landscape and engineering for smaller park venues.
• Ensures creative intent is achieved by successfully integrating design with other disciplines and components of facility exterior, interior and area development.
• Leads and mentors design team to ensure show quality of assigned projects. Can give creative direction as empowered by site leader.
• Ensures that venue management, line of business and Facility Ser *** understand the processes of *** Imagineering and Show Quality Standards i.e., Design Services Project Management, Show Awareness Training.
• Leads show quality standards meetings, walk-throughs with area managers and reviews ongoing projects and show quality concerns with various partners.
• Drives show items for resort facility long term planning and set priorities.
• Partners with project management organizations to insure schedules, deliverables and fiscal accountability.
• Collaborates with venue design services manager/design administrator/show producer to ensure creative deliverables, scope, schedule, budget and adherence to *** standards of practice are accomplished.
• Supports site leader in show awareness and training programs. Co-presents all venue show awareness and training programs.
• Develops and leads a strong venue design team by supporting, coaching, and mentoring to insure the continued delivery of a quality product.
• Communicates and i *** uences standards and best practices to design team and worldwide to fellow art director colleagues.
• Provides creative updates to Hong Kong and US based teams as directed by site leader.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited design program or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in themed entertainment (or equivalent) design field. *** experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing/leading a team of creative professionals. Extensive prior knowledge as a project leader, with international experience.
• Strong computer and hand sketching skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, In Design, Sketch-up and MS Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint would consider as added advantages.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills. Exceptional presentation and organization skills. Ability to present and sell ideas/concepts to a wide variety of audiences.
• Ability to work in all phases of a project's development, including large and complex projects.

The Plasterer 200 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to plastering normal finishes and simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, brick, stone wood). The removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt. This will include shop work, field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment of. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and use normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering, all maintenance teams including attractions, ride and show, and infrastructure facilities.

The Plasterer 755 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to model and mold making (fiberglass and silicone), fiberglass repair, and manufacturing and casting parts in materials such as urethanes, epoxies and resins. Those in this position may also include the removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt, the fabrication of MACON parts and the repair and refurbishment of character heads. This will include shop work, as well as field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment or model making. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and the use of normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering and all maintenance teams including Attractions, Ride and Show, and Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

The Plasterer 200 role is responsible to:

• Have the ability to safely use and maintain basic hand tools, to operate pneumatic and electric powered tools utilizing the proper safety precautions including personal protective equipment, and the ability to operate a man lift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, and both gas and electric powered carts
• To read blueprints and follow engineering instructions. The ability to use or learn to use MAXIMO (a work order tracking system), as well as to follow check lists to safely handle materials, lock-out and tag-out of attractions, operate department equipment and vehicles and know what actions to take in case of a failure
• To remove and repair cement, pavers, asphalt and tile, are required to possess a basic knowledge of how to handle and use molds and models (preferable knowledge of how to fabricate molds and models), and must possess the ability to plaster and apply or carve in the plaster simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, wood, stone, brick, etc.)
• Have the ability to operate a manlift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, bicycle and both gas and electric powered carts

The Plasterer 755 role is responsible to:

• Able to read, interpret and follow checklists, written procedures and/or processes.
• Familiar with or have the ability to learn the Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Excellent communicator (express technical ideas, exchange information with WDI personnel, management, and other Cast Members)
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Plasterer 755:
