The Art Director will work closely with the Creative Director to create materials that properly bring to life all the brands in the Dotdash *** Lifestyle Group including *** ter Homes & Gardens, REAL SIMPLE, AllRecipes, Magnolia Journal, Southern Living, Midwest Living, Dotdash *** Travel Marketing, D2C and SIM's.

• Develop, design and support the Design Director in the creation of advertising/marketing assets including presentations, sell sheets, print ads, digital ads, event collateral, micro-sites, e-blasts, mockups, etc.

• Collaborate with project managers and work on multiple projects simultaneously, keeping creative files organized and accessible to the wider team

• Apply expertise in creativity and organization to work quickly and efficiently, meeting deadlines and ensuring deliverables are in line with expectations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field; or equivalent training and/or experience.

Experience:

• 7-10 years working for a magazine brand that also has a web/digital presence.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Solid typographic/layout design skills with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members
• Efficient time management and organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Skilled in Keynote, Powerpoint, and Google Suite

Pay Range
Salary: $94,850 - $135,500

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash *** 's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- • Degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design/Visual Communications/Fashion or 10+ commensurate experience

Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with internal creative teams as well as business teams to deliver high-quality, scale-able, on-brand imaging solutions to build a superior customer experience
• Delivering results quickly with little supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
• Enhance the team knowledge of best practices and trends in *** Visual Innovation Services (VIS)
• Plan, conceptualize and execute elevated e-commerce, still-life and video content; direct post-production to achieve desired results
• Communicating effectively, including verbal and written skills, and i *** uencing across levels • Assist on set with prepping, prioritizing imaging order, and styling products
• Troubleshoot and prioritize direction for creatives on set
• Use the vision of the brand, buyer requests, and other resources as guides to make specific Styling choice

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Concept + Design Studio is the full-ser *** in-house partner for all things creative within Marketing's Global Brand & Creative, DTC, at *** Discovery. Our work spans five teams and encompasses brand identity, campaigns, toolkits, key art, OOH, motion graphics, and print and digital design. Together, we create and translate the brand for any medium to best serve our stories.

We are seeking a talented Art Director who is passionate about design with a focus digital platform creative design. As part of the Content Creative, the AD will be immersed in an engaging, fast-paced environment with opportunities to create original and innovative designs that stay true to our shows. The AD must have strong communication skills, managerial skills, attend business partner meetings, and collaborate within the team and across departments. Above all, they are confident in their instincts, experimental with their work, and receive constructive criticism and feedback effectively. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience managing a small team of more than one designer varying team (local and remote)
• Hands-on leader, creating various layouts and comps to final key art (digital)
• Assures design deadlines are met
• Execute final designs-adjusting style, images, branding-as well as presentation decks
• Participate in briefing and ideation phase to develop compelling key art that's on-brand
• Brief designers on specific key art projects and, working with Creative Directors, provide constructive feedback
• Work on single IP in all areas of static-content creative-key art development and finishing, digital, marketing decks, and in-situ delivery

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in graphic design with 5+ years' design or agency experience
• Strong visual design skills and portfolio
• Proficient in latest Mac software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and additional relevant programs
• Top-notch portfolio with a track record of carrying out world-class entertainment campaigns
• Ability to successfully manage time, workflow, and schedule
• Excellent verbal/written communications skills

The Job:

The CW Television Network is seeking a hands-on Art Director (Sports & Entertainment Motion Design), to join the Brand Creative team. This role will be responsible for the execution of creative from concept boards to final animation. Job Summary:

Being part of a multi-faceted and phenomenal team, you will be playing a vital role to lead and direct efforts for story development, to conceive, develop and define all creative aspects of the *** Imagineering Hong Kong team on assigned projects and venue at Hong Kong *** land. • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited design program or equivalent.
