We are looking to hire a seasoned assistant editor for a high volume, fast-paced show. This is a Union show - it's not required to be in the union prior to being hired, but must be willing to join if hired. This job will be shooting and posting in Atlanta. This is NOT a remote position.

Extensive experience with Avid required, possessing all the typical technical skills needed for assistant editing on an unscripted show - syncing, grouping, ingesting stills, exporting, lock prep and turnover, etc. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator and able to work quickly and efficiently under deadlines. They should also be able to troubleshoot issues on their own, and know when to raise the flag. This person will be helping to support a large edit staff so being a team player is vital to success in this role.

We are a Los Angeles-based production company, looking for an AE to work with us on this project during the 3 days our team will be in NY.

For this role, it would be for the evenings of October 16th-18th. It would require meeting up with us on set (a different location each night) taking all footage back with you each evening and we would need you to ingest all footage, sync sound to all cams (all video files are multicam), create proxies, and upload to the cloud.

Day rate for an overnight shift

Organize, edit, revise, and render videos for use on social platforms, full-length episodes of podcasts and other episodic web series, short films, docuseries, television and radio commercials, online advertisements, and other forms of visual media
Perform simple graphics edits as required to implement or update lower thirds, start or end cards, bugs, branding screens, and other on-screen graphic content.

● Ingest, transcode, sync, lineup, and prepare projects for editing
● Pull and cut clips for playback on podcasts and other video projects
● Seamlessly and efficiently work with other video editors on the
Production team throughout the editing process to deliver all projects on
time, on budget, and without error.
● Basic motion graphics skills, color correction skills and creative color-
grading instincts
● Basic audio post-production skills, including dialogue editing, sound
mixing, repair and sweetening

Adobe Premiere and knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Avid Pro Tools (preferred)

This will be a full-time, IN OFFICE position with a private workspace.

Assistant an editor on location to prepare a cut that needs to be completed same evening as principal photography for a keynote next day. Would need to ingest footage during shoot day, log and stack takes and generally set up the material for a very fast turnaround.

In need of an editor to cut multiple Instagram Reels for a brand in the real estate/home space. The ideas are already fleshed out with great descriptions and editor will execute that vision with an eye for marrying what’s popping on social with the brand’s DNA. Total have 30 reels to edit ranging :15-:30 each but can split up into multiple batches across multiple editors if needed. Will give multiple rounds of notes/feedback and flat rate is inclusive of those rounds also. Delivery date is October 15 for all so looking to start asap.

Candidates must speak fluent Spanish and be able to translate and edit videos involving Spanish-speaking talent. CNE Video Editors bring compelling, culturally-impactful, entertaining, and diverse creative content to life every day. Candidates should be natural storytellers and creatives first, interested in a role that spans a wide array of projects and styles, and able to collaborate with many creative partners in Production and Programming. This position works closely with Directors, Producers, Post Production Supervisors, other post-production team members, and reports to the Supervising Editor.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Edit a variety of complex digital video concepts across Condé Nast’s portfolio of brands, primarily for YouTube in both English and Spanish

-Collaborate with Directors and Producers to meet the creative and technical goals of each unique project

-Able to quickly and independently cut to the essence of a story, and create compelling and entertaining narratives from diverse raw materials
