Job Requirements: This is a remote job.

We are looking for someone to join our existing team as we have gotten a little busier than usual.

Hours are very flexible (day, swing, night, on-call). Remote work is encouraged but you are welcome to work at our facility if need be. (South of Hollywood).

You would be working with our Lead AE and Post Supervisor, mostly using Avid Media Composer but sometimes jumping into DaVinci Resolve, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.

Duties include:

-Ingesting new footage
-Logging footage
-Light troubleshooting

At the moment this is a six-week gig but there is very good potential for that to be extended and/or to transition from this project into our other projects.

Role Overview:
As a Junior Digital Editor at V10 Networks, you will be responsible for editing compilation videos and original content for V10’s network of YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram channels. This includes America’s Funniest Home Videos (AFV), Kyoot, Peachy, All The Babies, Kids Say, and new brands we're developing. This role is key in ensuring our content is visually stunning and engaging for fans across channels.

Role is hybrid in the office 2-3 days per week. Office locations in Santa Monica and Burbank.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos and clips, ensuring high viewership and engagement across multiple platforms.
- Execute technical editing tasks including syncing, sequencing, color correction, sound mixing, pan and scan, reformatting, and transcoding.
- Work with a variety of formats, adapting content for different social media platforms and long-form channels.
- Collaborate with creative teams to maintain the V10 brand’s aesthetic and storytelling standards.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong experience in video editing, particularly for social media and digital platforms.
- Knowledge of media management and an understanding of viral video trends.
- Excellent technical skills in video editing and a keen eye for visual storytelling.

The hiring range for this position in Vancouver is C$64,700 to C$82,800 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other variable pay or benefits, may be offered dependent on the level and position offered.

Requirements & Skills :

Some college education preferred
Fluency in English
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Minimum one-year experience operating video editing equipment
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
